Hasaka Governor , ICRC discuss enhancing cooperation in water sector

Hasaka , SANA- Governor of Hasaka Dr. Louie Sayoh, discussed Sunday with head of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Syria, Christophe Martin, the situation of drinking water in the governorate, and the necessity of ongoing cooperation to supply people with water.

Sayoh noted that the governorate continued to cooperate with the office of ICRC in order to increase the projects that would alleviate from the suffering of people resulted by the unjust siege imposed on Syria.

For his part, Director of Hasaka Water Establishment, Mahmoud Okla, stressed the importance of cooperation with international organizations during the current period due to the drinking water needs of the governorate.
