75 tons of sesame crop estimated in Hasaka

Hasaka, SANA-  Directorate of Agricultural in Hasaka province estimated the production of areas planted in sesame crops for the current season at 75 tons.

“the area planted with the crop amounted to 40 hectares out of the 110 hectares planted to be grown in al-Malikiyah and al-Darbasiyah areas,” Head of the Plant Production Department in Agriculture Directorate, Eng. Jalal Bilal, said.

sesame seeds are included in some food industries in the province as they are marketed there to secure the needs of establishments and shops.
