Homs, SANA- General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums signed an agreement with the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East to restore and rehabilitate al-Zahir Baybars and the church towers at the Krak des Chevaliers in Homs central province.
The 10-year agreement comes in the framework of protecting Syrian heritage and antiquities, according to Engineer Admon al-Aji.
Eng. Hazem Hanna, the assistant director of the castle said that six experts from the Hungarian mission arrived in the country to prepare, for one week, the necessary preparations and studies for the site.
