Damascus, SANA – President Bashar al-Assad on Monday issued Legislative Decree no. 14 for 2020 on exempting production requirements and raw materials used in manufacturing pharmaceuticals for human use from customs.

The decree, which is valid for one year as of the date it comes into force, also exempts these materials from all other taxes and fees imposed on imports.
