Weather forecast: Hot weather prevails in eastern areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 4 to 7 degrees above average as the country is affected by a southeastern superficial low air pressure accompanied with northwesterly air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy and clear in general and hazy and hot in the eastern areas and al-Badia. The winds will be western to northwestern of low speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 37/17, Homs 34/15, Hasaka 38/18, Lattakia 28/18, Aleppo 33/16 and Deir Ezzor 38/20.
