Bangkok, SANA-Syrian Olympic football team tied with its Qatari counterpart 2-2 in its first match at the Asian U-23 finals being held in Thailand capital of Bangkok, Group B.

Qatar scored first at the 2^nd and 22^nd minutes of the game, while the Syrian team scored at the 31^st and 92^nd minutes of the game.

In addition to Syria and Qatar, Group B includes Japan and Saudi Arabia.
