Beirut, SANA – The Syrian national team for Greco-Roman wrestling will participate in the competitions to be held Saturday in the frame work of the Western Asia Junior Wrestling Championship hosted by Lebanon.
The Championship will last till November 10th with the participation of Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, Palestine and Syria.
On Friday, the Syrian national team for freestyle wrestling won a gold medal, four slivers and three bronzes in the same championship.
16 medals were harvested by the Syrian national team in the competitions of the U-18 Western Asia Wrestling Championship which was organized in Lebanon at the beginning of the current year.
