Tehran, SANA – Syria’s Olympic football team lost 0-2 to its Iranian counterpart in a friendly match held Tuesday on Kish Island, south Iran, in preparation for Asia Cup finals.

The two goals were scored in the 23^rd minute and 89^th minute.

Syria will play its second friendly game against Iran next Friday.

Syria will play within Group F with Jordan, Kyrgyzstan and Kuwait at the Asian Cup qualifications.
