Syria beats UAE 1-0 in Group C of Asian Games

Jakarta, SANA-Syria’s Olympic Football Team won 1-0 against his UAE counterpart within the first round of the Group C competitions at the Asian Games in Indonesia.

Player Abdul-Rahman Barakat scored the only goal in the match which was held at the Jalak Harupat Stadium in Indonesian city of Soreang.

Group C includes also teams of China and East Timor.

On Thursday, the Syrian team will meet his Chinese counterpart while the match with East Timor will be held on August 20.
