Homs oil refinery targeted with rocket shell, fire extinguished

Homs, SANA_ In the framework of targeting the infrastructure and economic institutions, the terrorist organizations positioned in al-Houla area targeted Homs Oil Refinery with a rocket shell Saturday.

In a statement to SANA, Director of the refinery, Ali Tarraf, said that a rocket shell fired by terrorists landed on an 18-inch pipeline for transporting oil in the northeast side of the refinery, causing material damage to the site and the eruption of fire.

Tarraf added that the firefighters managed to put out the fire and prevent it from moving to another equipment and place.
