About 7,500 hectares of barley and 5,800 hectares of wheat harvested in Daraa

Daraa, SANA- The harvested areas of barley crop in Daraa province has amounted to 7,500 hectares and about 5,800 hectares of wheat.

Head of the Plant Production Department in the Agricultural Directorate Eng. Wael Al- Ahmad said in a statement to SANA on Wednesday that the harvesting process continued and it is nearly completed.

“The harvested area of barley crop for this season is 9,952 hectares and of wheat 62,658 hectares,” al-Ahmad added.
