Ankara, SANA- Turkish Ministry of Defense affirmed its rejection of Israeli attacks on Syrian territory, stressing that these air operations destabilize Syria.
Anadolu Agency quoted ministry sources as saying Thursday, in response to journalists’ questions at the conclusion of its weekly press conference: “Ankara rejects the air operations carried out by Israel in Syria,” adding that “these air operations only aim to destabilize Syria. As many countries have done, the United Nations has rejected the Israeli attacks on Syria and called for their cessation.”
The sources indicated that Turkish coordination activities continued with all parties in Syria, within the framework of the new Syrian government’s request.
