Turkey renews its call to lift western sanction on Syria

Istanbul, SANA- Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Nuh Yilmaz reiterated his country’s stance calling for lift of the Western sanctions imposed on Syria and  put an end to Israeli attacks on Syrian territory.

Turkey’s Anadolu Agency reported that, during discussions hosted in Istanbul on Friday with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, Yilmaz reiterated Turkey’s position calling for lifting of sanctions on Syria as the most effective and efficient way to support the Syrian government politically and financially.

Yilmaz also stressed the need to stop Israeli attacks on Syrian territory.
