Damascus, SANA- Christian community of Damascus celebrated Palm Sunday, the anniversary of the entry of Jesus Christ, the messenger of love and peace, into the city of Jerusalem.
Their Beatitudes, the Patriarchs and Bishops, delivered sermons on this occasion, praying to God Almighty to protect Syria and its people, and for peace and love to prevail throughout the country.
They also emphasized the need for Syrians to unite at this crucial time and support their country, contributing to improved security, stability, and reconstruction.
After the Masses and prayers, the church’s Scout teams performed hymns and songs for this occasion, in addition to holding activities and distributing sweets to children.
