Lebanese Prime Minister to Visit Syria This Monday

Beirut, SANA-Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam announced that he will visit Syria tomorrow to meet with senior officials and discuss a number of issues of common interest between the two countries.

The Lebanese National News Agency quoted Salam as saying in a statement on Sunday that the issue of Lebanese citizens who have disappeared in Syrian prisons and were kidnapped during the era of the former regime will be among the topics to be discussed during his visit.

“I hope to return with good news about those missing in Syria, and I will update the Lebanese people on this issue tomorrow,” Salam said.
