Damascus, SANA – The Cabinet tasked the Local Administration, Environment, Public Works and Housing, and Agriculture Ministries and the Regional Development Agency with developing al-Ghab area in Hama province in the fields of agriculture, construction, and economy.

During its weekly session chaired by Prime Minister Imad Khamis on Sunday, the Cabinet decided to review the model villages studies in al-Ghab area and make new construction plans that suit the area’s agricultural nature.

The Cabinet also reviewed the preparations for the basic education and high school certificate exams which began today, as well as approving the Health Ministry’s plan for developing pharmaceutical and medical industries, and the Tourism Ministry’s plan for expanding popular tourism in all provinces.
